Early on in the year we usually get to hear about some pretty cool contests and statistics. One that we’re particularly excited about is BC’s Top Employers of 2021. Not only because we want to see where people love to work, but because it’s always fun to see if your employer made it. Also, if you’re looking for a new job, this can be super helpful.
If you’re unfamiliar with the competition it’s from the organization Canada’s Top 100. The system grades employers on 8 different criteria to come up with its list of best employers in the province. They are Physical Workplace, Work Atmosphere & Social, Health, Financial & Family Benefits, Vacation & Time Off, Employee Communications, Performance Management, Training & Skills Development, and Community Involvement. So clearly the competition covers a lot of bases.
