Well Vancouverites, the city is slowly reopening. And while we’re excited, it means things are probably going to be pretty different for a while. So on that note, Gastown has decided to create the ‘Open with Care’ program to safely welcome people back to the neighbourhood.

The Open with Care program was created to ensure that the neighbourhood could reopen safely and in line with orders from the province. So in order to help people feel comfortable coming back to Gastown, they’ll be implementing lots of cleaning amongst other things. And that means you can expect to see cleaner streets and beautification measures like more murals.

Although most of these things have already been done. But that means you can have peace of mind going back to Vancouver’s favourite historic neighbourhood. And with well over 70 businesses, we’re sure there’s at least one place you miss.

So we’re excited to know that Gastown is slowly getting back to “normal”. But please be patient with businesses as they get back up and running with limited hours and whatnot. And if you’d like to learn more, we recommend clicking here.
