Federal Government releases ‘Canada’s Flight Plan’ during COVID-19
Well, it took a few months, but it happened. On Friday, the federal government released a full guide to flying during COVID-19 called ‘Canada’s Flight Plan’. Basically, the flight plan is a one-stop shop for anyone needing to fly into or around Canada during the next few months. Here’s a quick rundown.
First, the plan is a summary of all the measures put in place so far. This includes things like mandatory mask use, cleaning protocols and contactless check-in. It also includes more specific things, like temperature checks at Canada’s 4 busiest airports.
Safe and secure air travel is critical, particularly as we continue to face this pandemic. I’m pleased to introduce Canada’s Flight Plan, which reinforces our commitment to protect public health and minimize the #COVID19 risks associated with air travel: https://t.co/Aoum57RvdQ

But, the flight plan also gives a lot of info on how to travel as well. On that end, you’ve got references to which apps will speed up your time in the airport, and what can be expected while you’re in the airport and on the plane. All in all, it’s worth a read for anyone planning to fly this year.
