As part of their 50th anniversary celebration, the Canucks have revealed a new centre ice logo at Rogers Arena. The logo is a subtle nod to the original stick in rink logo of years gone by. We personally like it- it’s a simple, bold design.

Meanwhile, the anniversary jerseys had more mixed reviews. Some people really like the new designs, while others thought the colourways could have been improved. Whatever, it’s too late to fix now, and they at least kept the Orca logo.

We would have loved to see the Flying V jersey come back as an alternate, but that’s just us. And no matter what, we’re excited to see the Canucks have a great season with the overhauled look.

Check out the new Canucks centre ice on September 17, when they face off against the Edmonton Oilers. You can grab tickets here.
