In case you haven’t heard, a fire broke out on Cambie street early yesterday morning. And sadly it destroyed several local businesses. Not to mention, it also left multiple businesses badly damaged. So a GoFundMe has been started to help these businesses.

The fundraiser has a goal of $25k and is currently at just over $3.7k. So if you frequent businesses in the Cambie street area or live in the neighborhood you might want to consider donating. And we know that money is tight for many at this time but even a small donation can go a long way.

Not to mention, local businesses are struggling more than ever due to the pandemic. And with that in mind, the funds from this GoFundMe will help businesses before insurance funds and also help them pay their employees. So let’s help these businesses stay afloat.

If you’d like to learn more or donate you can click here. And if you’re unable to donate at this time, consider sharing as a means to raise awareness. Because you never know who you might reach. And remember to take care of each other.
