Tickets: Free to attend, $12 for a big ol’ bowl of chowder
We’re gearing up to take our horse to the old town road, horse tack and all. Seriously though, rodeos are pretty heck danging fun, and it’s a great excuse to see if that Wrangler shirt you bought on a whim was a good idea.

Where: Cloverdale, BC
Tickets: $33 for a one-day rodeo pass, get them here
This 4-day long festival in Whistler is meant to usher in the summer, and will have a ton of activities for you. There’s a pancake breakfast, concerts, sports, arts, and much more. Want to get a head start on summer fun? Head to Whistler.
When: Friday, May 17 to Monday, May 20
Where: Around Whistler
Tickets: Most events are free!
Nothing like humming and hahing over some old British automobiles. Put on your best monocle, don a velvet sport coat, and go scoff at cars that you could never afford. Fun fact though- you can buy an old Jaguar S-Type for less than $20k USD.
When: Saturday, May 18, 10AM-4:30PM
Where: VanDusen Botanical Garden
Cost: $17 for GA
Taking place in Railtown, this market will be selling food, beauty products, apparel and a lot more. There will also be workshops and live demos. About what? Beats us, but we’re sure it’s health-related. Swing by the rooftop after party for a vegan pot luck as well.
When: Saturday, May 18, 11AM-4PM
Where: 520 Alexander Street
Cost: Free to attend!
