Granville Island’s annual light display is also coming back. Plus, pretty much every vendor offers some kind of holiday treat, so finding the perfect gift should be a breeze.

With that out of the way, Lights by the Lake at Harrison Hot Springs is a stunning waterfront display that’s completely free to check out. Make an outdoor day of it and explore the trails nearby before they get turned on.

Glow Maple Ridge

Basically, this massive light display takes over the entire community for the holiday season. So, you can easily make it a drive-thru experience of your own. Of course, don’t head over before the travel restrictions have been lifted, if you do want to check out these free light installations.
