Sometimes we all need to do things to get out of our daily routines. And while we can’t really travel right now we think a staycation is a great idea. So we’re going to give you just a few things that you can do right here in BC that will make you feel like a tourist in your own province. Here are 6 awesome staycation ideas for BC.
Well, it’s probably been a minute since you’ve been up to Whistler. And with the resort reopening today it’s time to check it out for the summer season. So whether you want to hike, bike, or ride the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola just for fun, we think now’s a great opportunity to head back there.
Of course, we have to mention BC’s wine country. So you know if you’re a fan of fermented grapes, a trip to wine country is the ultimate staycation. And if you’re unsure of where to start, we’ve got you covered. Just make sure to follow the rules of each winery in regards to COVID.
Here’s a simple one, just get out of town for a weekend. We’ll bet it’ll have you feeling happier and more refreshed. And if you don’t know where to go, we’re here to help. There’s always Vancouver Island, Salt Spring, and Kelowna to name a few.
If you’ve never been trail riding before, now is a perfect time. This activity is fun and BC has some pretty amazing ranches that are worth visiting. Now we think it’s best to spend a whole weekend so that you can get the most out of your equine adventure. But you do you.
Luckily for us, BC has an abundance of hot springs. However, most are closed due to COVID. So that’s why we’re pretty pumped that Harrison Hot Springs Resort is open. And if you’re in need of some relaxation then you should definitely check them out.
This one is simple but it’s easy to forget how beautiful our province is. So if you just want to get out for the day, a drive on the Sea to Sky Highway is a great option. And you can even make some scenic stops along the way, gotta love it.
