Well, fall is here and it has us feeling a little tense. And with this year we definitely need some R&R. So we’re probably going to be hitting the spa and think you might want to as well. So here are 10 of the best spas around Vancouver.
This well-loved Vancouver spot is the spot for massages. You can experience a Thai massage, deep tissue massage, couples massage, and more! Plus they’re located in the heart of Downtown so you don’t have to go far for some serious R&R.
Where: 235 Robson Street
At Scandinave, they’re committed to the ‘hot-cold-relax’ system, which is proven to release endorphins (AKA: make you feel amazing). Plus, the Whistler backdrop isn’t too hard on the eyes, either.
Where: 8010 Mons Rd, Whistler
If you’re looking to explore the Sunshine Coast, the Painted Boat Resort is a great option to experience sauna caves, outdoor glacial rain showers, a warm saltwater flotation pool, and more. So head here for some feel-good vibes without the guilt-inducing prices.
Where: 12849 Lagoon Road, Madeira Park
And if your feet need some TLC after being stuck at home for months then you should head to Barefoot Oasis. Because they specialize in foot reflexology. And you can also enjoy Thai, Swedish, and deep tissue massage.
Where: 168 Keefer Place
Located just 1.5 hours from Van, Harrison Hot Springs is a great place to treat yo’ self. It’s luxurious and conveniently located alongside the stunning Harrison Lakeshore, so there’s really no way you could have a bad time.
Where: 100 Esplanade Avenue, Harrison Hot Springs
Firstly this spa is absolutely beautiful and unlike anything else we’ve seen in the city. Secondly, they offer a unique Hammam and Gommage service. Which basically a steam and exfoliation before each of their massages. So you definitely need to check them out.
Where: 1495 6th Ave W
The Halcyon Hot Springs is a bit of a trek, but it’s totally worth it since it’s located in a quaint village with gorgeous views of the Monashee Mountains… but if that’s not already enticing enough, this place has water so pure that it’s said to actually have antidepressant qualities. Hey, why not!
Where: Box 37, Nakusp
If you’re looking for a unique TLC experience then you should check out Yaletown Wellness Center. And while it’s not exactly a spa, it’s a relaxing place to take care of body ailments. So sit back and relax while you enjoy acupuncture, massage, cupping, and more!
Where: 878 Hamilton St
We all know the Shangri-La hotel is a good time, but not everyone has explored the amazing spa that’s inside. They have aromatic infinity baths, tea services, and an extensive treatment menu—so we’d definitely consider it one of the best spas around Vancouver. And if you’re looking to stay in the city to detox, this is your spot.
Where: 1128 West Georgia Street
And finally, we’re going to cap the list with a seriously bougie spa at the Hotel Georgia. A spa experience here will cost you a few hundred bucks but if you really need some R&R that might just be worth it. You can enjoy all your classic spa services but with elevated products and experienced practitioners.
Where: 801 West Georgia St
If you make your way through this list of the best spas around Vancouver, we’re pretty sure you might become the most zen person alive… so spa carefully, everybody, and make sure you tag us in all your calming Instas!
