We know that the weather doesn’t exactly scream ‘patio drinks’ right now. But, with indoor dining closed for the next few weeks, we thought we should share a map of the temporary patios in Vancouver. That way, if you feel like enjoying a little fresh air with a roommate or household member, you’ll have some options at your fingertips.

Basically, some nice employee at the City of Vancouver has decided to log all of the patio permits issued, and track them on an interactive map. So now, all you have to do is zoom in on the area you want to visit, browse your options, and make a pick!

However, since these are particularly weird times, we also recommend checking with the spot itself before you go. Some establishments have decided to shut down completely for the next little bit to save money. And, we don’t want you showing up expecting a nice patio visit and getting closed doors.

Aside from that, stay tuned for our own lists of some of our favourite patios in Vancouver once the weather warms up. And, make sure you’re following all public health guidelines while you’re going out.
