The Street Food City food truck festival has been postponed

Well, we definitely don’t blame Dine Out for cancelling the Street Food City food truck festival this weekend. The much-loved part of Dine Out was supposed to kick off tomorrow, but has been postponed a couple of weeks to let the weather settle down a little bit.

This year, Street Food City has a whopping 25 participants lined up. That includes some fan-favourites like Disco Cheetah, Come Arepa and Chickpea. But, there will also be a few new names, including the mouthwatering Salty’s Lobster Shack.

Although the festival is cancelled this weekend, hungry Vancouverites will have more than enough opportunity to try out Street Food City. The festival will officially launch on January 31, and runs straight through the next week.

Perfect for those of you who work downtown and want to try something new at lunch! Especially because entry is free this year, too. That’s right, you get even more money to spend on a delicious grilled cheese or whatever else your heart desires.

See you down there!

Street Food City

When: Postponed until January 31
Where:  Vancouver Art Gallery, 750 Hornby Street
