It’s hard to believe that we’re already less than two weeks away from Easter. And, that means it’s time to look at Easter treats in Vancouver this year. Just in case you don’t expect a bunny to come clamouring through your house dropping off chocolate, we’ve got some delicious local options.

Here are 6 great options for Easter treats in Vancouver this year.

Temper Chocolate

First stop- chocolates. Temper has kept things classic this year, with a selection of chocolate bunnies that are sure to please the purists out there. However, the semi-melted egg showpiece is a pretty sweet take on the classic chocolate egg formula.

Beta5

Beta5’s angular chocolate has always been a hit in the city. For this Easter, they’ve opted to go with a space theme that we’re liking quite a bit. We’re a bit bummed that the alien-looking Easter egg is sold out, but that’s okay- it’s the cream puffs here that are truly spectacular.

Beaucoup Bakery

The Dino-Mite chocolates from Beaucoup this year are adorable, and remind us of ‘Dino-Eggs’ instant oatmeal we would eat as kids. So, we recommend picking that up alongside their hot cross buns. Eating hot cross buns while playing hot cross buns on a recorder is peak Easter morning, for us.

The Pie Hole

Easter-themed pie? Hey, when it’s a place as good as The Pie Hole doing it, why not? This Mini Egg chocolate cream pie uses a double-butter crust, making for an extra flaky and delicious treat. If you’re looking for an after-dinner treat, this is it.

Grounds for Coffee

All Easter weekend long, you can grab brightly-coloured cinnamon buns at this staple spot. Really, this is just an excuse to head back to Grounds for Coffee for their amazing buns. But, we don’t think there’s any shame in that when they taste so good.

La Glace

Feeling the warmer weather in your veins and ready to celebrate? Cool down with La Glace’s absolutely delicious take on Mini Egg ice cream. Fun fact- La Glace is one of the few spots in Vancouver to offer a creme anglaise base, which is like the fancier, richer cousin of regular ice cream.
