Howdy, folks! With a weekend of sunshine in the forecast, we thought that now would be a perfect time to take a peek at some newly opened patios around Vancouver. From quick, pop-up spaces to some pretty big initiatives, it looks like Vancouver is in for the summer of patios.
Let’s check out some new spots to hit soon.
A great new spot for, you guessed it, dim sum in Kitsilano. But as an added bonus, Little Bird has a fantastic craft beer list to compliment the meal. Perfect for a sunny summer day spent on 4th Avenue.
Where: 2958 W 4th Avenue
The Pacific Rim has decided to open a pop-up patio space in their front courtyard downtown. This is good for those of you who are spending the day exploring Coal Harbour or something and need a nice, high-class beverage to cap things off.
Where: 1038 Canada Place
This acclaimed, cozy spot reopens today for dine-in, and they’ve got a new summer patio set up as well. Look no further if you’re craving delicious farm to table cuisine around the Mount Pleasant area.
Where: 2702 Main Street
Kind of a cheat because this is basically what Gastown is calling over 20 outdoor patios with 500 total seats in the area. From staples like the LOCAL to new ones from the likes of Alibi Room and the Birds and the Beets, Gastown is a prime choice for those who want to browse options first.
Electric Bicycle is a fantastic, local brewery that got a curbside patio installed for summer. Swing by for some very tasty ice-cold beers and take in their fantastic mural. To us, that sounds like a recipe for a great afternoon with friends.
Where: 20 E 4th Avenue
And that’s our latest roundup of some newly opened patios in Vancouver that you should check out! We hope that you enjoy yourselves this weekend, folks!
