An iconic Vancouver food truck returns to the city on Friday!

After more than a year-long hiatus, the modern Asian Le Tigre Truck will be back to roaming the streets of Vancouver starting on Friday, October 30th. This Vancouver staple was originally introduced in 2012 and operated for around 7 years before leaving the scene in May of 2019.

Luckily, Le Tigre’s sister restaurant Torafuku has kept the delicious food alive, but we can’t deny that a quick food truck stop is always welcome. Plus, the reopening will also bring a host of new dishes, with Korean and Taiwanese cooking techniques on display.

And while we’re interested in mixing up a few rice bowls, we can’t deny that the first thing we’re going to try is the crispy chicken bun. Grab some pork belly salad as a side, and we’ll be some very happy campers after our lunch break.

Le Tigre will be serving up its food at a rotating list of spots. As for this Friday, you can expect to see them at 33 Acres Brewing in the Mount Pleasant area. It’s like they read our minds for where to kick things off!
