Here’s what makes Belgard Kitchen one of Vancouver’s most unique restos
It’s fair to say that Railtown has no shortage of great restaurants to dine at, but we keep finding ourselves at Belgard Kitchen! Maybe it’s the beautiful space, maybe it’s the wine and beer lists. It’s probably the inventive and diverse food menu. No, wait, nevermind, it’s all three.
As part of the Settlement Building, Belgard Kitchen operates alongside Postmark Brewing and Vancouver Urban Winery. As for the building itself, it was originally built in 1923, and much of the original materials are still inside.
Belgard offers lunch and dinner every day of the week, plus brunch on weekends. The menu has a little bit of everything, which can make choosing what to indulge in a little tricky. However, we’re happy to report that everything’s solid. They’ve managed to dial in the flavours on dishes ranging from lasagna to ceviche.
We’d be lying if we said that the spot isn’t amazing for those who like a little beer or a glass of wine with their meal. Both Postmark and Vancouver Urban Winery offer their full range of products here. So, you’ve got quite literally dozens of fantastic options for your bevvie!
Plus, you can taste them all during their happy hour from Monday to Thursday. With a rotating feature for a glass of beer, white or red wine, it’ll only take you, oh, maybe a couple of months. We’re in for the comittment.
Give it a taste. We’re right there with you!
