Rental of the Week: Live and work all in one at this unique industrial loft
Sure, we’re more or less working at a startup tech company. But that’s not going to prevent us from showcasing a loft available at 6th Avenue West. Half industrial and half residential, this is the kind of incubation space we dream of when chatting with our tech bros in San Fran. Yikes, we know it’s just a joke, but what a sentence, hey?
Rental of the Week: 6th Avenue West
This building was first built in 1997 and features 39 units over four floors. The only one available is a 2-bedroom penthouse suite, with 1 bathroom and over 1100+ square feet of space. So, regardless of how many employees you try to squeeze in there, you’ll still have some private space.
The beauty of the open floorplan makes arranging desks easier than ever! All you have to do to succeed here is quite literally compartmentalize your life. Business on one floor, and personal affairs on the other. Yeah, that seems like something that will be totally healthy. Go get that work-life balance.
Plus, if things get overwhelming you can escape to the communal patio on the 3rd floor of the building. Boom, a nice little urban oasis for when your seed money falls through.
Now, the price ($3300/month) does seem a little too good to be true. So, we recommend exercising caution when checking this place out. That said, if it’s legit, this is a screaming deal!
All we have to do is come up with a money-making idea, and then we can move in the lofts on 6th Avenue West. Got any ideas? We call dibs on half of them for giving you the tip about the space. Check out the listing here, then fire over an email and we’ll get to fundraising.
Enjoy the day, Vancouver!
