A look inside Temper, West Van’s tastiest chocolate shop and bakery
A relatively hidden gem, Temper Chocolate and Pastry has been creating some of the city’s most delicious creations for a few years now. Located in the West Van neighbourhood of Dundarave, this European pastry shop is well-known for their attention to detail and jaw-dropping chocolate creations.
Let’s take a look at some major chocolatey goodness!
First off, head chef Steven Hodge has storied past. He’s worked at Michelin starred restaurants around the world, is Cordon Bleu trained, and previously spent four years at Vancouver’s own Thomas Haas. Flex, man.
With a pedigree like that, it’s easy to see why everything at Temper is so delicious! From croissants to ganache, you can easily taste the entire menu and still have trouble picking out a favourite.
