Grab some of English Bay’s best seafood at Hook
Having opened in the summer of 2017, Hook Seabar is one of English Bay’s most recent additions. Yet, they’ve managed to become one of the most popular in the area- thanks to a great bar program and amazing, coastal-inspired food.
We applaud their decision to showcase the best of BC’s beer through 8 rotating taps. Not feeling a beer? Try out a light, summery craft cocktail instead. We recommend Chasing Waterfalls, with Gin, Watermelon, Tarragon, and Cointreau.
Then, start out with a couple of light dishes to share amongst the table. We love the ahi tuna poke, as well as the watermelon and feta salad. What can we say? We love watermelon here at Curiocity.
As for the main, we think that the blackened ling cod is the best on the menu. Their burgers and fish and chips are tasty too, but we like to keep things spicy.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the space is beautiful as well. A light, well-designed dining room right beside the ocean? Sounds like a winner to us.
