Curiocity Introduces New Branding To Celebrate Our Cities And Emphasize What’s Relevant

Hello again, Curiocity readers and followers! In the few short years that we’ve been around, we’ve absolutely loved growing and evolving with you into becoming one of Canada’s leading digital publishers. With a daily audience of over 2 million people and over 110 million monthly content views, we’ve established ourselves as a top-notch lifestyle source across our markets. Now, we’ve got some pretty exciting changes on the way and we can’t wait for you to come along for the ride. 

Our cities are ever-evolving and full of exciting, untapped potential. We exist to help people navigate it all. With a curated slate of what matters in your city, Curiocity presents you with the most relevant local food and drinks, experiences, news, deals, adventures, and more. We exist to help you get the most out of your city and focus on the easy-to-miss details that other outlets overlook.

In short, Curiocity is emphasizing what’s relevant. That’s precisely why Curiocity has freshened things up with a new brand aesthetic. 2020 has been a wild ride across the board, so we took a look at what we love doing the most, along with what our audience responds to best, and have fine-tuned our brand to better represent our purpose.

Our new brand DNA represents that transformation. At Curiocity, we aim to be knowledgeable, trustworthy, welcoming, approachable, brave, progressive, and above all else, curious. Our new logo, with the ‘Cece’ icon mark, is meant to open up the conversation between us and our audience.

Beyond the rebrand, we have even more initiatives that we can’t wait to launch. Curiocity will be branching into collaborations with products that you know and love, along with introducing products of our own. We understand our audience, so who better to provide them with exactly what they are looking for? 

Plus, Curiocity will be planning our entrance into new markets before the end of 2020, along with launching a fresh new website in March of 2021, to continue further with our new look. 

Finally,  we’ve decided to go beyond rebranding our on-screen presence and entering the product market to introduce our audience to Curiocity Events across all markets. You’ve known us for telling you about the coolest events and things to do, and don’t worry, that won’t stop. But now, Curiocity is ready to bring you an exclusive, curated series of pop-ups, adventures, and unique experiences for you to uncover.

We kicked things off in Calgary with Motor Nights: A Series of Drive-In Events, which went from an idea in our heads to Canada’s best-selling drive-in movie series of 2020. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, folks.
