Check out this delicious French restaurant tucked away in Gastown
Have you been feeling the urge to spend some time in Gastown? Well if you make your way over there, we recommend acquainting yourself with Jules Bistro. This delicious spot specializes in French cuisine and is expertly run by owner Emmanuel Joinville and chef Atsuo Nomura.
Together, the two have created a restaurant that melds the flavours of France with a West Coast vibe. Here, you can expect authentic, traditional French dishes and daily specials all using fresh, local ingredients. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Jules has a lovely classic Gastown atmosphere complete floor to ceiling brick walls and black and white bistro tile floor. They even have large windows that filter in natural light for the perfect food pics.
Jules has you covered with lunch, dinner, brunch and dessert menus. Of course, they also offer a happy hour menu for the drink inclined individual. If you’re heading in for lunch we suggest starting out with the Moulard duck leg confit, complete with fingerling potatoes and frisée salad.
As for dinner, how about trying the Seafood linguini complete with steelhead, mussels, prawns, bay scallops and clams and finished with saffron cream? If you want something more simple try their mussels of the day to taste the fruits of the BC coast.
We all deserve to treat ourselves so make sure you try their Clafoutis of the day and call it a night. Jules Bistro is guaranteed to put you in the best food coma of your life.
