Do you like dogs? Stupid question, we know. Something extra special is going down in Vancouver this weekend! Dogs of Vancity is hosting the 8th annual biggest dog meet up in Vancouver. We don’t have our own fur squad quite yet, but hey, we’ll always take an opportunity to live vicariously through pet owners.

So whether you have some canine friends of your own or want to see a whole herd of them, you need to put this event on your calendar.

This very furry event will be taking place at the lovely Trout Lake Beach. Since you’ll be right next to Commercial Drive, you can hop over and grab a coffee. We won’t be joining, because we’ll be too busy crying real tears over a corgi somewhere.

We kind of hope that this event eventually evolves into a Commercial Drive dog parade. Seriously, how cool would that be? Anyway, we can dream. As Dogs of Vancity says, “bring all the dogs, no dogs left behind”. We can get behind that.

We’ll plan on seeing you and your pals there! Preemptively, can we pet your dog?
