Oh yes, nothing like running around the family farm on Easter morning and searching for eggs. Ok, you caught us, we’ve never done that, but we could this year thanks to Taves Family Farms. That’s because on Easter weekend, they’re hosting a boozy, adults-only Easter Egg Hunt!

You’ve got both Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 to get down there and take part in the festivities. Both evenings start with an opportunity to check out the petting zoo and go on a hayride. This is also a great opportunity to get out the charcuterie board and grab some of the Taves cider.

Then, guests can tuck into their meal, to be provided by Big D’s Food Truck (coincidentally, Big D is our bowling moniker). Choose your choice of sandwich (a veggie burger is available) or poutine and a couple of sides. Basically, you’ll get all the energy you need for the hunt.

The hunt begins right after dinner. While it’s going to be a riot, there’s also something on the line. That’s because Taves is giving away a ton of door prizes for lucky hunters. Plus, the first 20 people back get a prize of their own!

We’re cidering up and throwing elbows. Stay clear.
