The biggest party on two wheels is coming to Vancouver this fall
If you’re missing out on SeaWheeze this weekend, then we highly suggest joining the 5000 other people who will be at Bike the Night next month. Sponsored by MEC, this nighttime 10K ride is sure to scratch your itch of enjoying our beautiful city in a healthy way.
Winding through False Creek and Lower Mount Pleasant, the ride will be shutting down the route for cars, so you don’t have to worry about messing around in traffic.
Plus the event is family-friendly, and participants under the age of 16 can sign up for free. Starting at Sunset Beach at 6PM, people will get to enjoy food trucks, live music and more before hopping on their bikes.
MEC has promised that the event will feature tons of giveaways, in addition to a $500 gift card as a grand prize. Who doesn’t want $500 to spend at MEC? That’s practically enough to start out a completely new hobby. Or, you could seriously upgrade your gear for an existing one.
Of course, we’re just happy to get out and about in our city every once in a while.
