SeaWheeze 2019 goes down this weekend, and it’s looking crazy fun
Well, the region’s health nuts are sure to be out in full force this weekend for the 8th annual SeaWheeze Half Marathon put on by Lululemon. With over 10,000 runners expected to participate, the event is as much a celebration of Vancouver’s beauty as it is an invitation to get a little exercise in.
The route will be winding through Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and Kitsilano. So, if you’re planning on driving around these areas, make sure you schedule transit accordingly. It’s no fun to get caught up behind a group of runners and end up late to your lunch plans.
While registration for the run itself is closed, people can still buy tickets for the Sunset Festival on Saturday night. With tickets priced at only $48, we think it’s a screaming deal. Here’s why.
First, the Sunset Festival features an artisan market, plus food and drinks. As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in group yoga. You know, so you can limber up for the main event.
Which is a back to back set from a couple of major electronic artists. Starting things off is Big Wild, who is an up and coming name in the scene. He will be followed by Kaskade, who has been making waves for around 3 decades. Either of these acts in concert would be more $$ than a single SeaWheeze ticket, so you can see why we think attending is a good idea.
You know, in addition to being healthy and all that.
