Last minute tickets are still available for Les Ballets de Trockadero!

It’s hard to be the first to do something. Especially in New York. But, that’s exactly what Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo managed to do when they became the first all-male ballet troupe back in 1974. Starting out with ‘late-late shows off-off Broadway’, the Trocks have grown into the world’s ‘foremost all-male comic ballet company’.

How did they do that? There are two parts to the answer. First, and most importantly, the Trocks are legitimate ballet dancers capable of performing en pointe, something that wasn’t even thought possible for men. But as an added bonus, their satirical approach reminds the audience that ballet can be funny as well.

This is a one-night only affair, by the way. And considering that this troupe travels internationally, it will probably be a while before they return. So, if you’re at all interested, we highly suggest grabbing a ticket and checking them out! It’s a unique show, and unique shows are always worthwhile.

See you down there, folks!
