Indian Summer Festival moves online with exclusive content

For us (call us ignorant), the Indian Summer Festival has always been a sleeper hit. It never really got the same attention as other festivals but was among the best for programming. Maybe you’re right in calling us ignorant about the past years, but we’re definitely on the ball for 2020.

And even though the Indian Summer Festival has moved online, it’s 100% worth being on the ball for. Between workshops, panel discussions, music, and more, the festival isn’t cutting any corners in the transition.

Take the next event, which actually goes down today, on Saturday, May 23rd. This event will see a conversation between David Suzuki and Vandana Shiva about the nature of COVID-19 and what it means for humanity. Not exactly a heartwarming topic, but it will be everything but boring.

And moving forward, you can expect a whole spectrum of weekly content! The festival hopes to have weekly events online from now until July 18. We recommend following the festival on Instagram or staying up to date on the website if you’re interested.

We know that we are! Enjoy the summer and the Indian Summer Festival, folks!
