A big, tasty Root Beer Festival returns next month
You’ve heard of rootin’ tootin’ cowboy shootin’, but have you discovered the joy of rootin’ tootin’ root beer tastin’ yet? No? Well, partner, today’s your lucky day. The 4th Annual Root Beer Festival happens in Langley next month, and celebrates, you guessed it, all things root beer.
There will be over 50 different vendors to sample, ranging from A&W to Dad’s to brands we’ve never even heard of before. You can buy root beer by the case after sampling, just in case you really love one of them. No word yet on whether they will have a good sarsaparilla to try, though.
As a bonus, all sorts of root beer related treats will be available as well. Root beer floats, fudge, candy, pastries… the list goes on.
The event is free to attend, but if you know that you’re going to go, you can buy tickets online that include the cost of samples.
When: Saturday, May 25, 11 AM – 3 PM
Where: Douglas Recreation Centre, Langley
Tickets: $10 for 20 samples or $25 for 50, get them here
