The quintessential Canada Day activity. The Canada Day celebrations run all day, culminating in a huge fireworks display at 10:30PM. So, even if you don’t go during the day, you should check that out at night.

Commercial Drive will be hosting family-friendly activities for 3 hours starting at noon. So, we recommend heading down there for that, then maybe checking out what else you can get up to in the neighbourhood.

Coastal Jazz Fest will be pulling out all the stops for this free event on Granville Island. There’s a nonstop lineup of musical acts across multiple stages, plus you’re super close to some of the best food in town.
