Get wild at the Canucks game

This week, our boys are taking on Minnesota Wild on December 4th and the Nashville Predators on December 6th! Head to Rogers Place to take it all in (and cheer for our newly returned boy, Boeser!

Eat up at the Mealshare Soup Showdown

We are proud to partner with the Mealshare program to help feed youth in need! Come down and celebrate with us for their Vancouver Mealshare Soup Showdown event on Tuesday, December 4th. Eight Mealshare restaurants and breweries will be teaming up and taking the stage to showcase their ultimate soup and beer pairing.

Check out Sushi Jin on Nelson Street

What does Edomae mean? Nobody knows, but it’s provocative and gets the people going. At least, that was our response when we heard we were getting a new sushi place (specializing in Edomae). Made from raw fish and vinegar-seasoned rice, it’s more of a modern taste than the basic sushi you might be used to. (It’s no less delicious, though.)

Be dazzled by Bright Nights in Stanley Park

800 firefighters have put in almost 8,000 hours over the course of a three month period every year for the last 20 years, attracting 200,000 people to come by and take a look at over three million lights. As far as numbers games go, this one is hard to beat.

Hunt for ugly Xmas sweaters at F As In Frank

You can go to Frank’s to grab a certified *vintage* Christmas sweater. This is where all the hipster Santas go, so if you’re wanting to rock a hip flask and show off your loom skills this December, we suggest you hit up Main Street.

Chow down at the newly opened Meat and Bread

Meat and Bread is the place where vegan and gluten-free preferences are thrown out the window. If you’re down with meat, pop by for some Cajun Chicken, Meatball, and Porchetta options… they’re what sandwich dreams are made of and they are now coming to you on Robson Street.
