Jurassic World 3 will be filming in Vancouver this winter!

Multiple news sources have announced that Jurassic World 3 is coming to be filmed, at least partially, in Vancouver this winter. The final instalment of the newest Jurassic Park trilogy has the working title of Arcadia. Fun fact- the word means ‘a vision of pastoralism and harmony with nature’.

Shooting is scheduled for February 24 to March 6, so it’s going to be a pretty narrow window to see stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. That also means chances are slim to none that we’ll catch Jeff Goldblum strutting around. But we’ll, uh, find a way.

The rest of the filming will be in Hawaii, the island of Malta, and Pinewood Studios in London. The latest film will continue from where the second left off. A refresher- dinosaurs have come to the mainland and Dr. Malcolm claimed the world has entered a Neo-Jurassic Age.

Well, all of a sudden the working title makes sense. We’ll let you know if any stars are spotted when Jurassic World 3 comes to Vancouver for filming!

The movie is scheduled to be released on June 11, 2021, so we’re still a ways out. In the meantime, we’ll be catching up on plenty of other filmed-in-Vancouver flicks.
