The music industry’s biggest evening took place last night and boy did it deliver. From show-stopping performances by all your favourite artists to incredible recognition for all their hard work, the 2021 Grammy Awards were certainly an evening to remember. For the Canadian artists in attendance, the evening was extra special. Here is a few of our country’s very own who dominated the award show.

So the big winner in our books is Montreal’s Kaytranada. The Canadian artist took home two awards last night for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording. Not too shabby!

Another notable winner was Justin Bieber, who led the Canadian artist pack with the most nominations (four) and won the prize for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his song “10,000 Hours” with Dan and Shay. Of course, The Biebs was not in attendance last night. Though it’s not clear exactly why he skipped the show, rumour has it it’s because his album Changes was nominated in the Pop category instead of R&B.
