December is here, which means it’s time to make some time to check out Van’s best holiday lights! Here are the best (and most Instaworthy) places in town to get your dose of sparkling Christmas joy.

Aurora Winter Festival

When: Now Till December 30th
Where: Concord Pacific Place– 88 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver
Cost: $14.99 – $59.99
Aurora’s Winter Festival started last weekend, and all the Insta story hype makes it look just as magical as we envisioned. Concord Pacific Place has been transformed into a magical winter wonderland with massive light displays, so hit it up and prepare to be dazzled.

Bright Nights at Stanley Park

When: Now Till January 5th Where: Stanley Park– Miniature Railway Area Cost: Bright Nights Entry By Admission ($4); Christmas Train Tix $6 – $12 800 firefighters put in almost 8,000 hours to put up this huge display, so it’s only right that you go check it out. Van Dusen Garden Festival of Lights

When: December Where: Van Dusen Gardens– 5251 Oak Street
Cost:  $18.50 Online; $20 At Gate

If you thought this botanical oasis couldn’t get any more magical, wait until you check out Van Dusen Garden’s Festival of Lights. More than a million twinkling lights are decorated across the gardens, with a Broadway-worthy light and Christmas musical display show playing over the pond. Bring out your blanket scarves and grab a spiced hot chocolate from the fireside lounge– this night may even beat watching Elf on the couch.

St. Paul’s Lights of Hope

When: Now Till January 8th Where: St. Paul’s Hospital – 1081 Burrard Street, Vancouver Cost: Free, Donations Appreciated The annual tradition of holiday lights at St. Paul’s Hospital has returned. When: November 30th – End of December Where: Robson Square– 800 Robson Street Cost: Free (Donation For Bulbs Optional) The Christmas tree at Robson Square gives us major NYC vibes. Dundarave Festival of Lights

When: Every Saturday afternoon, December 2nd – December 23rd
Where: Dundarave Beach– 25th Street at Bellevue Ave, West Vancouver
The largest outdoor display of outdoor Christmas trees in the province returns on December 2nd. Four days of free concerts, free light displays, and the Forest of Miracles will dazzle your eyes. It’ll be so pretty, you’ll forget all about the traffic-packed drive home on the Lion’s Gate Bridge!
