We all know that people in BC love the outdoors and all that it has to offer. And that definitely includes some skiing. After all, that’s one of the big draws of living here. So in true BC fashion, a toddler has stolen the hearts of Canadians thanks to her viral skiing videos. Yes, a toddler on skis!
Adia Leidums is only two but she honestly skis better than a lot of people we know. And beyond her impressive ability for her age, the narration of her downhill adventures is really what gets us. In the videos, you can hear her talking about going around the trees and simply signing herself down the hill.
Not only do we enjoy it, but she’s been featured on CBC and even had her videos appear on CNN!

If we knew we wouldn’t get crazy looks from other skiers we might do the same. But watching Adia’s videos definitely gives us a lot of joy. And also reminds us that you’re never too young or old to start something new. So while the skiing season might be coming to a close, it’s a good reminder to get out and about.
