A look inside the incredible Aurora Winter Festival (PHOTOS)
Ah, the PNE, the most versatile venue in all of our magical city. It can be fun, spooky and now as festive as ever. This year the Aurora Winter Festival aka Canada’s largest winter festival will take over the PNE and Hastings Park to bring you a holiday season you’ll never forget.
Escape to a hidden village with a beautiful skating rink, a tube park, massive light displays, a Christmas Market, amusement rides, food gardens, magical characters, and plenty of other exciting activities. I mean we know Christmas Markets promise a lot but Aurora sounds pretty sweet. We’re thinking the tube park sounds like an excellent way to spend an evening or the whole weekend…
Aurora’s Christmas Market gives you yet another one-stop spot for grabbing holiday gifts. The Christmas Market also has food vendors because if you get hangry you know what list Santa will put you on. While you’re enjoying your food you can interact with some of Aurora’s magical characters. Just be careful or you might end up in Narnia or the Land of Sweets.
Aurora’s tickets are pretty affordable which we love, GA starts at $17.99. Aurora is running now until January 5th giving you plenty of time to get down to the PNE. We will warn you though, tickets are going fast and a few days have already sold out.
So get down there!
