Bring on the heat: Vancouver could see temperatures in the 20s this week & here’s when

Get ready for a late-spring heatwave, Vancouver! The sunshine is finally back this week, and things are about to get toasty. After a cooler-than-usual start to spring, to say we’re excited for a taste of summer weather would be an understatement.

According to The Weather Network, the temperature will rise by nearly 10 degrees by the end of the week, just in time for the weekend. Time to break out your sunglasses and beachwear!

While Monday and Tuesday are set to be overcast and drizzly, the weather in Vancouver will slowly heat up on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs of 15 and 17 degrees respectively.

And on Friday, April 28th, the temperature will climb into the low 20s for the first time this year!

On Monday, May 1st, temperatures will slowly drop back to where they are now, between 12 and 16 degrees. The first week of May is shaping up to be pretty rainy, so don’t pack away your waterproof gear just yet.

And that’s a wrap on the weather in Vancouver for this week. Here’s to hoping for sunnier days in May!
