You can buy roses for just 50¢ at this Vancouver event

Roses are red, Vancouver is wet, pick up some roses this June for just 50 cents!

Join us on Sunday, June 12th for the Vancouver Rose Society’s 66th annual Rose Show and Sale at the beautiful VanDusen Botanical Garden.

The much-anticipated event will feature hundreds of home-grown rose blooms, as well as the “Queen of the Garden.” We’re intrigued!

Walk around the fragrant display at the Floral Hall for a stunning exhibition of hundreds of blossoms, flowers, and greenery. Expert rosarians and casual rose lovers alike can enter their own flowers for consideration, so long as they adhere to the show’s rules and exhibitor requirements.

The event is completely free to attend and open to the public.

There will also be a photography competition, rose expert clinics for all your floral questions and concerns, and a table with some beautiful bouquets for sale.
