Vancouver is getting the first Canadian outpost of this chic Parisian brand

Almost two decades after starting out, the Parisian fashion and music brand Maison Kitsuné has announced its first Canadian storefront, and it’s coming to Vancouver! Having started in 2002, Maison Kitsuné has outposts all over the world, including in cities like New York, Tokyo and Paris (of course).

If you’re curious, the brand name pretty much means ‘House of the Fox’, since ‘maison’ is French for house while ‘kitsuné’ is Japanese for fox. It makes sense, since the brand was inspired by the creators’ own Paris upbringings as well as trips to Japan. Fittingly, the logo is a cute little fox!

And now, they’re ready to bring their vision to Canada for the first time. The new Maison Kitsuné store will feature the brand’s full range of men’s and women’s clothing. Plus, they’ll be opening one of their signature Kitsuné Cafes alongside it, just in case you need another cool coffee shop to hang out in.

Maison Kitsuné will be moving into a space at 155 Water Street, located in the heart of Gastown. Keep your eyes peeled for an official opening date!
