Vancouver has clocked the most hours in an electric vehicle of any Canadian city

We probably all know about Vancouver’s reputation as the ‘Greenest City’ in Canada. And now we have one more thing to back it up. Because Vancouver has logged the most trip hours in electric vehicles thanks to Turo car share. So let’s give ourselves a pat on the back for looking out for the environment.

And if you’re wondering, this data has been measured since Turo started operating within Vancouver. Plus this data is only compared to other Canadian cities. But regardless, we’re still pretty dang proud of our city for backing up its reputation. And especially because this has been achieved in just 5 months.

That being said, Vancouver also happens to have the highest proportion of electric vehicle listings available on Turo. And across the country, bookings for electric vehicles have doubled this year. So maybe our influence is rubbing off on other provinces…
