Every spring, Vancouver transforms into a beautiful sea of pink, and the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival (VCBF) returns to celebrate one of the most beautiful times of the year. Tens of thousands of cherry blossom trees bloom around the end of March, bringing Raincouver some much-needed colour and vitality.
The festival not only commemorates the beauty of the trees themselves, but the art and culture they inspire. And best of all? Everyone is encouraged to participate.
Over the next three years, the presenting sponsor of the city’s beloved Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival will be TD Bank Group, according to the festival.
On the heels of this announcement comes the opportunity for festival organizers to expand their programming like never before, starting with what will be one of the festival’s “most memorable seasons yet.”
“Our board and staff team are thrilled to announce our festival events schedule and are extremely grateful to TD for supporting us in this significant way,” says VCBF Executive Director Andrea Arnot. “We have been busy planning our events with even more avenues to bring community members together with meaningful, interactive and fun activities and performances.”
