Calling all art lovers! The Vancouver Art Gallery is bringing back its popular late-night Art Party, complete with live contemporary performances, drinks, music spun by DJs, and a slew of “unexpected surprises” throughout the Gallery. So get ready to walk the red carpet and enjoy a night to remember!
The party includes early access to its newest exhibition, Copy Machine Manifestos: Artists Who Make Zines. Visitors will be the first to sneak a peek at this highly-anticipated exhibition, which soon arrives from the Brooklyn Museum.
As well, the event marks the ‘last call’ for visitors to check out Rooted Here: Woven from the Land and J.E.H. MacDonald? A Tangled Garden.

Want to capture the night forever? A photo booth by Magik Moments will be available for use between 8 pm and 11 pm.
Note that member ($35) and standard tickets ($50) include one complimentary drink, and access to all exhibits and performances.
For $100 more ($135 for members, $150 for standard), visitors can upgrade to a Premium ticket, which comes with early and expedited entry to the party, in addition to exclusive access to the Premium Lounge at 1931 Gallery Bistro.
The Art Party will take place on Saturday, May 11th from 8 pm to 12 am.
