Van Mural Fest bringing back live music and a pop-up patio this year

Well, we know at least one thing we need to do next month. The Vancouver Mural Fest has revealed the full lineup for this year’s installment, and it includes an amazing pop-up patio! That’s right, one of the best parts of this massive festival is coming back- live music!

In partnership with Granville Island Beer, the Pop-Up Patio will run for the entirety of the festival (August 4th to 22nd). And, during that time, there will be over 40(!!) live shows to check out. These range from drag brunch shows to performance art and of course, live concerts featuring local artists.

The events are individually ticketed, and range from free (nice) to around $25 for the larger ones. But, we have a feeling that whatever you pick, you’ll be walking away happy. Tickets are currently onsale, so we suggest moving sooner rather than later if you see something you like.

The patio will be located at 2105 Main Street, right in the heart of the neighbourhood. Our advice? Definitely grab tickets to a show, then try to fit in a walking tour of the area either before or after. After all, this festival is the reason behind a ton of public murals around Vancouver, and it’s free to check them out!
