Attention thrift shoppers! Value Village is opening two stores in the downtown area, but they aren’t your traditional VV shops. The company is introducing Value Village Boutiques and they’re set to open the first as early as next month.
Value Village’s team shared with Curiocity that they will be opening Value Village Boutique stores, “which will enable us to expand into the city and cater to specific neighborhoods.”
The first Value Village Boutique store is located at Queen and Bathurst, specifically 639 Queen Street West, in the heart of downtown. This location is the first to open, with its opening date set for July 7.
For those who walk by the area, you’ll notice the signage and stock already filling part of the store.

But that’s not all!
Value Village is also opening a second location in the former Brunswick House on Bloor Street West. This location was more recently a Rexall, which has also closed its doors. There is no opening date yet for the 394 Bloor Street West location, but it is “in the works.”
As for what will be offered at these Value Village Boutique stores?
“These smaller stores will have a more focused selection of men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories. We will not be pricing or curating clothing any differently than other Value Village locations,” said the spokesperson.
