This U-pick Ontario farm has delicious peaches in season this month

August is here and that means peaches are in season in Ontario! Most farms that have peaches have a short window of when they’re ripe and ready to be picked so get ready and head over to Great Lakes Farms to get yourself some delicious U-pick peaches.

Great Lakes Farms is situated in Port Stanley, a popular summer destination for its thriving beach! Beaches and peaches go hand in hand in this town.

Picked peaches are available all month, while u-pick peaches days are August 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th.

Not only are there ripe peaches waiting to be picked, but the farm has peach-flavoured treats available for purchase too such as Peach Crisp, Peach Muffins, Fresh Picked Peaches, Peach Cider, Peach Sundaes and Peach Danishes.

The farm is also offering other family-friendly activities such as tractor rides and The Farm Fun Zone which will include zip lines, animals and a corn maze.

Admission is free to the farm, while peaches are priced accordingly based on the weight and amount.

The types of peaches guests can expect are Harrow Dawn, Red Haven, and Harrow Fair Peaches.

I don’t know about you but a trip to the farm to pick some fresh beaches on a warm August day sounds like a dream.
