The U of A Botanic Garden has revealed its opening day for the season

Heyo, a little trip to the garden sounds right up our alley this spring! The U of A Botanic Garden has revealed its opening day for the season, and we won’t have to wait long to get back out there. The garden will reopen for the spring/summer season early in May, here’s what to know about it.

According to a recent announcement, green thumbs and outdoors enthusiasts alike can head back to the garden starting on Saturday, May 7th. You’ll be able to enjoy a whopping 240 acres of stunning gardens, ranging from the Kurimoto Japanese Garden to the tropical showhouse (complete with butterflies galore!)

Of course, the Garden is also opening right before Mother’s Day, and has got some great stuff up its sleeve for that! On Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 8th), the Garden will be offering free pansy flowers for the first 500 moms to take a trip down there. A nice little bonus on an already nice outing, if you ask us!

Whatever your plan, we definitely think the return of the U of A Botanic Garden is going to be a must this spring. See you out there!
