This chic party-for-a-purpose is back and here’s what you should know

The Trellis Society is hosting its annual Soirée, and here’s everything you need to know about one of Calgary’s most impactful parties with a purpose.

If you’re familiar with the Trellis Society, you know their community efforts spread to all ends of Calgary’s borders and beyond. Their initiatives range from creating spaces for reconciliation through Indigenous programs to offering vital employment support to newcomers and youth. Their mission? To create a community where everyone can thrive.

The purpose of their annual Trellis Society Soireé is to support homeless youth and families throughout Calgary. Dedicated supporters of the event will also match the funds raised during the party, helping to end homelessness for over 7000 children, youths, and families within the community.

Last year’s gathering raised a whopping total of $797,285 for Trellis Society. And this year, they have plans to outdo this impressive number!

The fundraiser will be hosted at none other than The Hudson building, one of Calgary’s iconic event spaces, overlooking the city’s downtown views. You’ll be sipping your bubbly while gazing out over the glittering city lights.

And speaking of bubbly, make sure to come prepared with an empty stomach. Your dinner and drinks are also included in the ticket price, plus guests will get to enjoy live music from the Canadian Folk Music Award Nominee, Hello Darlins.
