TransLink is hiring for SkyTrain attendants in Vancouver & the job pays $39 an hour

Looking for a job with great benefits in Vancouver? One of BC’s top employers is hiring SkyTrain Attendants right now, and the pay is just over $39 an hour. Yup, you guessed it, TransLink is hiring.

For those with a valid Class 5 BC driver’s license looking for a permanent, part-time (25-30 hours) position that comes with a whole host of benefits, this is a great option.

Most roles at TransLink require a minimum of three to five years of recent related mechanical, technical, maintenance, and electrical engineering experience, “in a heavy industrial environment or other similar background,” according to TransLink’s career page.

Employee benefits include paid training, extended health and medical coverage (including for family members), life insurance, three weeks of paid vacation to start, optional overtime, and a transit pass for you and up to two eligible family members.

Note that these roles were posted on February 26th, and will remain open until filled. According to the job listing, all new employees are subject to a 6-week trainee rate at 75% of the hourly rate with the remainder of the first year at 90% of the hourly rate.
