What goes better with a total solar eclipse than a fresh dark roast coffee? Nothing! The total solar eclipse is quickly approaching on April 8th and if you’re still looking for a place to watch it, Tim Hortons Field will not only be hosting a viewing, there will be free Tim Horton dark roast coffee, too!

The event put on by Tim Hortons Field is free to attend but you will need to reserve a spot here.
Ticket sign-up includes a guaranteed spot, a free pair of eclipse glasses and a free Tim Hortons dark roast coffee!
As the home to the CFL team, the Hamilton Ticats, there are plenty of seats to watch the celestial event from.
A partial solar eclipse will be visible starting at 2:03 PM and the total solar eclipse will occur between 3:18 PM and 3:20 PM. The partial solar eclipse will end at 4:31 PM.
Guests can arrive at the event at 1:00 PM when doors open at Tim Hortons Field’s Gates 1 and 5.
“We’re excited to be gathering with Canadians on April 8 and serving free Dark Roast coffee for what will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many people to enjoy witnessing a total solar eclipse,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer for Tim Hortons.
Don’t forget, wearing proper eclipse glasses is required if you are viewing the total solar eclipse and not doing so can result in eye damage.
