Prepare to fill up on plant-based deliciousness! Veg Food Fest is returning to Toronto this September and it’s completely free to attend. It’s the city’s most iconic celebration of all things veg, and if you’re eager to eat your greens, you won’t want to miss it.

The food fest is popping up for one day only at Steam Whistle Brewery’s Locomotive Hall right in the heart of downtown.  This plant-based extravaganza has taken place in the city for 37 years, so you know it’ll be a good time.

Enjoy some mouthwatering bites at Roundhouse Park and then go back for seconds at one of the many vendors that this event has to offer. All of the details about this year’s vendors will be announced soon!

As we mentioned, admission is free, but you’ll need to register in advance as the capacity will be limited. After your contactless check-in, you’ll have a designated time window to enjoy the food and wander the grounds.

There’s also a whole lineup of virtual programming at this year’s Veg Food Fest that you’ll be able to enjoy from home. Speakers will be doing live Q&A sessions on the festival’s social media channels, and all the details about this year’s schedule will be announced on their website.

Also happening next month in Toronto is Canada’s largest burger festival ever, Le Burger Week. This year’s participants were just announced, and you get to vote on which burger deserves the award for “best in the city.”

So depending on your cravings or dietary restrictions, you’ll get your chance to indulge in some seriously epic dishes in the coming weeks.
