Ahh, the end of a long weekend. We’re feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on whatever this week throws at us. Thankfully, that’ll be all the events and amazing things to do around the city! There are loads of things going on this week folks, from art pop-ups to workouts to fall film festivals. So let’s go ahead and jump right into it!

Here are 8 of the best things to do in Toronto this week.

WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER POP-UP

Explore incredible new pieces from the legendary artist Mr. Brainwash at this cool pop-up art event. The bright, modern, and colourful exhibit will only be open for a few weeks, so be sure to check it out quickly. Who knows, you may just find a brand new piece to all to your living room decor!

FALL HARVEST

Celebrate all things autumn with a luxurious four-course feast from George Restaurant. This delicious spot uses fresh and local produce to craft their perfect fall dishes. This week on the menu, they’re serving up octopus, eggplant, pork belly, and venison. Along with a tasty pumpkin pie dessert. Plus, it all comes with customized wine pairings so you know it’ll be a good time.

XPACE CULTURAL CENTRE EXHIBITS

A ton of new exhibits are opening at the Xpace Cultural Centre that are just begging to be explored. This incredible collective is an artist-run non-profit dedicated to showcasing the best of the best. Right now they’re featuring works from a ton of fabulous local artists. So be sure to register ahead of time and check this spot out.

3-D WORKOUT

Say goodbye to the quarantine-fifteen with this great workout! It’s brought to us by legendary pilates instructor, Fiona Macdonald, and it’s just what you need to get in shape. The class is designed to be a full-body workout focused on reducing stress and leaving you energized. We could definitely use some of that!

REELWORLD FILM FESTIVAL

Some incredible new films are coming our way this week thanks to the ReelWorld Film Festival. This five-day event will be showcasing loads of incredible features, docs, and short flicks. VIRTUAL FASHION WEEK

In-person fashion week may be cancelled this year but that doesn’t mean it’s a total no-go. Starting Thursday, you can tune into the Fashion Art Toronto Instagram Page to catch live stream showcases of the best designers around. They’ll be broadcasted from closed sets at Toronto’s favourite landmarks. So be sure to log on and catch all the action.

Your favourite street food festival has officially changed locations! Now you can stop by any day of the week to enjoy all the tasty offerings from Street Eats Market.
