8 things to do at home and around Toronto this weekend (May 22-24)
The weekend is here and we’re ready to celebrate! Just cause we’re coming off of a shorter week doesn’t mean we aren’t more than ready for a break. So what will we spend our free time doing? We’re glad you asked, ’cause there are so many things to do this weekend we figured we should share ’em with you. You’re welcome.
Here are 8 things to do at home and around Toronto this weekend.
Why not spend these days expanding your mind? There are tons of super addictive docuseries out on Netflix right now. And these ones are sure to keep you entertained.
You might have heard that a ton of Subway Canada restaurants are reopening across the country. Plus, they’ve got a promotion right now for under $5 menu items. Umm, yes, please!
The Toronto Zoo is opening a drive-thru experience this weekend and you are definitely gonna wanna check it out. You can peruse the animals from the safety and comfort of your own car! Just in time for warm weather!
There’s no better time for some comfort food than literally right now. So order from one of these delicious ramen spots for the best ramen takeout and delivery in the city.
Spring has finally sprung and we’re gonna really feel it this weekend. With temperatures in the 20s, there’s no reason not to get outside and enjoy it. Just make sure you’re keeping 2 metres away from those around you.
Speaking of getting outside, did ya hear that Toronto is reopening a ton of sports amenities in public parks around the city? What better time to take advantage of these than this weekend? We’ll see ya on the courts!
And if sports on courts aren’t really your thing (hey, that rhymed!), there are still loads of other ways to get active outdoors. ActiveTO is back this weekend with tons of streets closed to cars and open to pedestrians and cyclists. It was a major hit last weekend. So we’re sure it will be again.
As the city moves toward getting back to normal, a bunch of businesses have been slowly reopening. There’s quite the list of spots that you can now visit. It includes golf courses, marinas, and retail stores. So why not check out some of ’em this weekend? Just be sure to physically distance when you do.
So what’ll you do first this weekend, Toronto? We’re thinking of hitting up that drive-thru zoo experience.
